Flavian has appeared at Caesars Palace, Lincoln Center and New York City's number one comedy club Caroline's. He has also appeared on various radio and TV shows including the NBC television special, "Psychic Attractions."
David Chase, creator of the world-famous TV series The Sopranos, used Flavian’s first and last name to create the character Flavian Petrulio, the featured mob guy at the center of Episode 5, College. In the episode, Tony Soprano calls Christopher Moltisanti from a phone booth to warn him about this dangerous figure — a deliberate name choice by Chase that echoes the performer’s own identity.

The episode, titled College, was rated by Time magazine as the best episode of the entire series and was ranked #2 on TV Guide’s list of the “Top 100 Episodes of All Time.”
